Although I worked for a major media company for 25 years, I am an entrepreneur at heart. I believe in teamwork, and seeking input from team members to understand all perspectives before making decisions. This makes it easier to get buy-in from the people who can help you execute and implement new initiatives.
Why you became a mentor?
I want to be a mentor not force my views on others, but to challenge them on their views -- to question their thinking, to make them look at all sides of a topic so that they can be confident that the conclusion they come to is the best based on the facts they have at hand.
An ideal relationship to You
I want to work with young people with ideas but not necessarily business backgrounds and experience. The goal is to help them not make rookie mistakes.
